I am interested in a date to rent the hall, how do I find out if it is available?
- Click on the calendar tab on the side bar menu of the website.
- Call the clerks office at 920-525-2717.
What are the rental procedures?
- A deposit of $25.00 must be paid when booking the date. This reserves the date of the rental. If you cancel the reservation the deposit will not be refunded.
- The rental fee must be paid at least two (2) weeks before the date of the rental. Failure to pay within this time frame could result in the loss of the date and deposit, if another party wishes to rent it for that date.
- The deposit is to be paid to the Village Clerk when reserving the date. The rental fee payment can be dropped off during office hours or mailed to the Village Clerk, PO Box 169, Nichols, WI 54152. All checks for payment should be made payable to the Village of Nichols.
- The deposit is refundable, provided the Community Hall and/or Pavilion are left clean. The tables need to be reset as they were before renting the hall. All garbage must be taken home with the renter and the garbage bag needs to be replaced. Please bring your own towels for washing and drying of dishes. A broom and mop are located in the first door across from the women's bathroom.
- Use of the dishes, silverware, coffee pots, and roaster is allowed. If used, please be sure to put these items away clean and they are not to leave the Community Hall.
- Refund checks for the deposit will be issued at the Village Board meeting in the month following the month in which the hall is used.
- In the event you wish to rent the hall another date in the same year, you may leave your deposit to cover the next date by notifying the Village Clerk.
